FIELD OF APPLICATION Due to the wide dynamic range, the amount of types could be drastically reduced. Thus, the type Qn 1,5 m³/h, which was so far normally used for homes, can in general be replaced by type Qn 1,0m³/h. This means simplification of planning, calculations and stocks for our customers! OPTIONS The INTEGRAL MK MultiSensor is available either with a remote reading output (M-BUS) or with an energy repetition output (FA). The remote reading allows for central reading of several meters with the M-BUS System (EC-normed). Inquiry and computer assisted evaluation of the neasurment values is performed over an inductive coupling box. FUNCTION PRINCIPLES: CALCULATOR Heat calculation is performed by a microcontroller integrated within the calculator, which is thermally uncoupled from the flow sensor system. This reduces self-unloading of the battery and increases the lifetime of the LCD display. Volume impulse resolution of the impeller wheel scanning surpasses that of the present equipment by far. Next to the evaluated heat, the LCD display can indicate volume, flow, temperature difference, flow and backflow temperatures and thermal power upon request. The heat meter is indipendent of any power supply system and can thus be installed universally at any place of the backflow. The INTEGRAL MK MultiSensor is insensitive towards dirt and conductivity modifications of heating medium. A second oscillating circuit assures automatic zero compensation. Due to this, neither axial play of the impeller wheel nor surrounding temperature have influence on measurement accuracy. Operation of the INTEGRAL MK MultiSensor is securely protected against HF emission and magnetic disturbances. The impeller wheel must drive no mechanical gearing of any kind. Thus, its starting limit below 3l/h is substantially lower than that of mechanical-magnetic gearings. The low inertia of the impeller wheel allows to cover a very extensive dynamic range of heat and volume measurements. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT Temperature measurement is carried out by means of two computer-paired platinum resistence thermometers Pt100. The characteristic lines of the thermometers correspond to DIN IEC 751 (class B). The termal coefficient k is continously adapted to the temperature range. Measurment is carried out directly in the heating medium or over sensor pockets. Direct measurement thus allows for shorter response times of the temperature sensors. |
VOLUME MEASUREMENTThe damping modulation principle is based on the modification of an electric oscillator circuit consisting of a capacitor and a coil, in which oscillations are generated at very short intervals. A damping disc fixed to the impeller wheel is subvided into a metallic and non metallic sector. These sectors cause different damping od the oscillations generated by the capacitor or the coil - an effect which allows for non magnetic and no-side-effect scanning and evaluation of the impeller wheel rotation. |
